In India, realme just launched the Buds Air7 Pro, its latest Pro series TWS earbuds and the successor to last year’s Buds Air6 Pro.
The new buds feature coaxial dual drivers (6mm + 11mm) for dramatic bass and detailed treble, similar to the older models. They support the LHDC 5.0 codec and are approved by Hi-Res Audio Wireless. Multi-point connectivity and Swift Pair are supported.
For the first time in this price range, the buds’ superior design uses aviation-grade aluminium. They come in four colors—Sand White, Silver Lime, Wind Green, and Fire Red—and have an IP55 rating for protection against dust and splashes.
The new model has enhanced active noise cancellation (anc) with a noise reduction of up to 53dB (up from 50dB). For voice calls, six microphones work in collaboration with AI-powered noise cancellation.
AI can also translate conversations in 32 languages in real time and interpret them simultaneously (of course, this is done on a phone). This use case and gaming benefit from the low latency connection (45 ms).
The new device’s battery lasts up to 48 hours between the buds and the charging case. When compared to 40 hours with the previous generation. Please note that ANC is disabled for this purpose. Total playtime is 26 hours with noise cancellation (6.5 hours with just the buds) and 20 hours with LHDC audio turned on (5 hours with just the buds). Ten minutes is sufficient for eleven hours of playback, and fast charging is available.
Pricing:
With a price tag of Rs. 5,499, the realme Buds Air7 Pro comes in Racing Green, Metallic Grey, Glory Beige and Fiery Red colors. Glory Beige and Fiery Red versions are available at a special launch price of Rs. 4,999.
Starting May 30th, it will be available on realme.com, Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra, and realme.com, as well as in mainline stores.
