Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge has finally been officially unveiled as the Korean company’s preemptive strike against the iPhone 17 Air, which is supposedly coming this fall.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge:

The Galaxy S25 Edge will feature the upgraded 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ panel. It features 48Hz-120Hz adaptive refresh rate support, HDR10+, and the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on top.

The Galaxy S25 Edge’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC powers it. It comes with 12GB RAM and a 256GB/512GB storage option.

 

The Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 200MP ISOCELL HP9 main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and dual-pixel technology. It also has a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with 2x optical zoom, OIS, and LED flash. The device will have a 12MP (f/2.2) selfie shooter.

The Galaxy S25 Edge packs 3900 mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging support. It also gets 25W wireless fast charge and 10W reverse wireless charging support. The device runs on Android 15 OS with One UI 7.0 on top.

The Galaxy S25 Edge comes with standard connectivity options, such as Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, Volte, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, UWB, USB Type-C port, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. It also supports water and dust resistance with an IP68 rating. It measures just 5.8mm thick and weighs 163g.

In India, the Galaxy S25 Edge is available in Titanium Silver and Titanium Jetblack and costs Rs. 1,09,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and Rs. 1,21,999 for the 12GB + 512GB version.

Online and offline retailers are now taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 Edge beginning today, May 13th, at 2PM. For a limited period, the price of the 12GB + 512GB variant is the same as the 12GB + 256GB variant.
