According to information shared by Digital Chat Station, MediaTek’s 2025 flagship chipset is expected to be a beast. This chip features all-large CPU cores, as well as a significantly more powerful NPU, and will be fabbed on TSMC’s N3P node (the 9400 and 9400+ are fabricated on the N3E node).

Dimensity 9500 will have a CPU configuration of 1x Travis, 3x Alto, and 4x Gelas, according to the leakster. As you can see in this WikiChip roadmap, Travis and Gelas are the next Cortex-X and Cortex-A7xx cores from ARM:

Nevis is the new Cortex-A5xx so that Alto might be modified from an A7xx core. Travis is expected to run at over 4GHz, according to rumours.

The chipset will feature 16MB of L3 cache and 10MB of system-level cache. LPDDR5X RAM will support a memory speed of 10,667 Mbps, in addition to a 4-lane UFS 4.1 interface.

With improved ray tracing and reduced power consumption, the GPU will be an Immortalis-Drage. With NPU 9.0, AI processing will be accelerated by 100 TOPS. In some reports, the Dimensity 9400 is mentioned as having 50 TOPS, but we have seen higher numbers.

MediaTek is expected to release the Dimensity 8450 soon, according to Digital Chat Station. The Dimensity 9500 is expected to be available by the end of October or early November.
