In November 2024, Oppo launched the Reno13 series of smartphones in China. After about six months, the brand is expected to launch its next-generation lineup in May in its home market. Reno14 series images have appeared on Weibo recently, as April draws to a close.

According to tipster DCS, the Oppo Reno14 sports a cold-carved “cannon-style” camera arrangement. Similar to an iPhone, the phone has a large R-angle design and an aluminium alloy side frame.

DCS claims that the Reno14’s texture and finish are so refined that they cannot be distinguished at a glance from those of an iPhone. Although the phone’s front has not been revealed, it is reported to feature a flat screen.

Specs:

According to the online post, the Reno14 series will be powered by massive battery packs with capacities of over 6,000mAh. The Reno14 may have a 6.59-inch LTPS OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, while the Reno14 Pro could feature a taller 6.83-inch LTPS OLED screen.

The display will have rounded corners and narrow bezels. The camera system has also been upgraded to provide an “iPhone-like” experience. Moreover, according to the rumor, the Reno14 series will offer top-notch water and dust resistance due to its IP68 + IP69 rating. Oppo’s Reno14 Pro renders leaked earlier this week, showing a redesigned rear camera module. New silicon batteries will be used in the Reno14 series, with a capacity of around 6,000mAh.
