Motorola has unveiled its 2025 generation of flip foldables, which are the first to feature dust resistance, a feature that few foldables have. The Razr 60 Ultra has significant improvements, while the Razr 60  remains focused on an affordable price.

Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra:

The Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra comes with a 7.0″ FlexView 1.5K POLED LTPO display with a resolution of 1224×2992 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It comes with a whopping 165Hz refresh rate support & Gorilla Glass Ceramic on top. Now the Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra display slides back into the frame to avoid damage when you fold the device. Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra packs the same 4″ (1272×1080 pixels) POLED outer display. The outer display also gets  HDR10+, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR 10-bit, 165Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and 120Hz/165Hz touch sampling rate.

The hinge components were reduced to 85 parts to increase longevity and endurance. Content can be captured from multiple angles with the phone propped up on its back.

 

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Soc coupled with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The new Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra features a 50MP outer camera with an aperture of f/1.88 with OIS coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. There is a 50MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. One can use the outer display to click a selfie, which was missing from the predecessor.

Additionally, the Razr 50 Ultra will be Motorola’s first clamshell foldable device with AI-powered photo and video capture capabilities. Despite the small print, the Razr is IP48 water-resistant, a first for Razr devices.

The device comes with Dual SIM support with 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, Wifi 7, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and IP48 certification. The Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra 5G packs a lower 4700 mAh battery with a 68W fast charger & 30W wireless charging support. Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra runs on Android 15 OS.

Motorola RAZR 60:

The Motorola RAZR 60 features a 6.9-inch POLED HDR display with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. The Motorola RAZR 60 also includes a secondary screen of 3.63” (194×368 pixels) POLED display, which is perfect for showing notifications.

Motorola Razr 60 has a new MediaTek Dimensity 7400x SoC, 8GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB storage. It features a 50MP outer primary camera with an aperture of f/1.88 and OIS. It is coupled with a 13MP SK Hynix Hi1336 ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.

The device comes with Dual SIM support for 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, Wifi 6e, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, a USB Type-C port, and IP48 certification. The Motorola RAZR 60 5G packs a lower 4500 mAh battery with 30W fast wired and 15W wireless charging. Motorola RAZR 60 runs on Android 15 OS.

Pricing:

The Motorola Razr 60 ultra comes in Rio Red, Scarab, Mountain Trail and Cabaret colours and is priced at USD 1,300 (Rs. 1,10,870 approx.) in the US and 1,100 GBP (USD 1464 / Rs. 1,24,935 approx.) in the UK.

The Motorola Razr 60/2025 costs $700 (about Rs. 59,700) in the United States and 800GBP (USD 1,065 or Rs. 90,880) in the United Kingdom. It is available in the following colours: Gibraltar Sea, Spring Bud, Lightest Sky, and Parfait Pink. These will be fully available on select retail channels and carriers on May 15, following their pre-order launch in the US on May 7.
