Since Samsung debuted the Galaxy S24 FE in October of last year, the arrival of its successor is most likely still a few months away. However, we may now know what processor the Galaxy S25 FE will use, and it might not be one you like.
The S25 FE will use Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 2400e SoC, per a recent leak. If you recognise that, it’s because the same chipset powers the S24 FE. Therefore, if any improvements are planned for this year, they will most certainly not take place here.
Let’s not forget that this is still only hearsay at this time. For the record, the same source has consistently disclosed the existence of the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro and the now-official Galaxy XCover7 Pro, together with their respective chipsets.
For better or worse, the Exynos 2400e appears to be the preferred processor for Samsung’s “FE” phones this year. It has also been repeatedly rumoured to be used in the highly leaked Galaxy Z Flip FE (or Z Flip7 FE).
