Looks like Xiaomi is finally planning to launch its premium flagship Xiaomi 12 series in India. After the launch of the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G, the brand is looking to expand the flagship segment with Xiaomi 12 series which went global last month. Now Xiaomi CEO took Twitter to tease the next launch which turns out to be the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
As per the source, Xiaomi will soon introduce the new Xiaomi 12 series flagship in India. The tipster confirmed that Xiaomi 12 Pro will surely land in India soon. Further, the source managed to get the launch details for the Xiaomi 12 series. The new Xiaomi 12 series will land in India on April 12.
So we can even expect the new Xiaomi Pad 5 to tag along with Xiaomi 12 series on the same date. More details will be out in the coming days.
Xiaomi 12:
Xiaomi 12 comes with a smaller 6.28 inches center punch-hole display on the front. It gets quad-curved edges with slimmer bezels surrounding the display. On the back, we got triple rear cameras which look similar to Oppo Reno6 series-like module. Further, we can notice the mention of 50MP on the camera module.
It measures 8.16mm thick & weighs 180g. The Xiaomi 12 sports a smaller 6.28 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colors, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1100-nits brightness.
The Xiaomi 12 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The Xiaomi 12 will come with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Xiaomi 12 features a 50MP f/1.9 aperture Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS support. It comes with 13MP ultra-wide sensor with a 123-degrees FOV along with a 5MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The device also features CyberFocus tech.
The official teaser already revealed that Xiaomi 12 will feature a 32MP selfie shooter. During the process of pixel-level skin rejuvenation, a generative adversarial network (GAN) reconstructs the skin’s details on a pixel-by-pixel basis, giving the skin a fresh and youthful appearance.
The Xiaomi 12 packs a 4500 mAh Cobalt Oxide battery with 67W fast wired & 30W wireless charging support. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port along with X-axis linear motor. It also gets stereo speakers powered by the Harmon Kardon. It runs on MIUI 13 with Android 12 OS out of the box.
Xiaomi 12 Pro:
The new Xiaomi 12 Pro will look identical to Xiaomi 12 in terms of design and comes with a quad-curved display. It measures 8.6mm thick & weighs 205g. The device got a glass back with metal chassis giving it a premium feel.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro sports a larger 6.73 inches QHD+ AMOLED (3200 × 1440p) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colors, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1500-nits brightness.
