In India, Vivo’s iQOO sub-brand has announced Android 12 beta availability. Vivo’s performance-focused sub-brand has a small presence in India. In India, iQOO’s current flagship smartphone is the iQOO 7. The iQOO 8 series is expected to be released later this year. The iQOO 7 Legend and the vanilla variant will get the Android 12 beta upgrade later this year. Let’s dig deeper into the Android 12 beta release for iQOO smartphones in India.
Android 12 beta release date:
The iQOO 7 series will be among the first to get the Android 12 beta-based Funtouch OS 12 update. In December 2021, the iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend will get the Funtouch OS 12 beta upgrade based on Android 12.
The beta version will be available for the Z-series devices. The iQOO Z3 5G and iQOO Z5 5G are the two smartphones now available. The iQOO Z5 5G was released last month, and the Z3 5G earlier this year. Both phones come with Android 11. Also confirmed for December 2021 are these two devices.
Finally, the iQOO 3, released in India in February 2020, will also get the Funtouch OS 12 beta upgrade. In March 2022, iQOO promises to offer the Android 12 beta update for iQOO 3 consumers in India.
The business hasn’t specified how many changes will be made to iQOO’s Android 12 skin. It claims the latest update has less bloatware and offers a smoother user experience. We’ll update this list as new Funtouch OS 12 features are announced.
