As per the reports, Google is planning to add an option similar to the Apple Privacy feature to Android OS soon. But the way the feature is been added to OS is different as Google will allow users to completely turn off the tracking. Yes, Google’s new feature will not allow ad agencies to track either on apps or websites.

After enabling this feature users will no longer receive the pop-up of individual apps nor one will have control over individual apps. Instead, it will disable the tracking completely on all apps on your phone. The new feature of turning off the ad tracking will be out to all users by end of 2021 through the Google Play Services update.

This will help to remove the advertising ID for users that had opted out. Indirectly, no one will send you personalized ads anymore after enabling this feature. By end of this year, change will be rolled out in phases with an update to Google Play services.
