Redmi has confirmed that the Redmi K90 Max will launch in China this month, and it’s expected to go head-to-head with the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, which is also tipped to debut around the same time. Both phones are rumoured to feature a 165Hz display and the same Dimensity chipset, positioning them as performance-focused devices. Fresh leaks from Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station have revealed more about the Ace 6 Ultra’s hardware.

According to the leak, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will feature a 16MP front camera and a rear setup with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It’s said to launch in several RAM and storage variants, including up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, and will be offered in Black and Titanium colour options. The phone is expected to pack a Dimensity 9500 chip, an 8,500mAh battery, and a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.

The Redmi K90 Max is rumoured to share the same Dimensity chip and 165Hz screen but aims to stand out with a built-in cooling fan and a dedicated D2 graphics chip, features that appear to be missing on the Ace 6 Ultra. This suggests Redmi is targeting gamers more aggressively, while OnePlus seems to be focusing on a large battery, clean design, and a balanced all-around experience. Both devices are expected to launch later this month in China, though final details may still change before their official announcements.
