Realme has officially locked in January 6, 2026 as the big day for its new mid‑range flagships. The Realme 16 Pro series will make its debut in India on the same day as its global unveiling, with the event scheduled for 12 PM IST.

The lineup consists of two models: the Realme 16 Pro and the Realme 16 Pro+. While the company is still keeping the full spec sheets under wraps, it has already given us a proper look at the design of the higher‑end Realme 16 Pro+.

Realme is clearly putting a lot of emphasis on style this time. The 16 Pro+ will be offered in four colors: Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple. Master Gold and Master Grey are the result of a collaboration with renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. At the same time, Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple are exclusive to India and take inspiration from traditional festive flowers.

Under the hood, the Realme 16 Pro+ will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset and backed by a battery rated at over 6,500 mAh, hinting at serious endurance. On the software side, it will run Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 right out of the box. Realme is also promising three major Android version updates and four years of security patches, which should appeal to users planning to keep their phone for the long haul.

Camera and display performance are another focus area, with Realme highlighting its new LumaColor IMAGE technology, developed in partnership with TÜV Rheinland. The company claims this will deliver noticeable improvements in color accuracy and overall image quality. You can dive deeper into the details of LumaColor IMAGE in Realme’s separate announcement.
