According to reports, the Vivo X300 Ultra will be the only phone with dual 200-megapixel cameras. A new leak, however, suggests that Oppo has revised the Find X9 Ultra’s camera setup to include dual 200-megapixel cameras.
In a new leak shared by Digital Chat Station, the Find X9 Ultra is reported to feature dual 200-megapixel cameras, a first in the segment. It has a 200-megapixel super-large sensor with light intake that exceeds current one-inch sensors. To improve real-world imaging, Oppo may prioritise sensor area efficiency and optics, especially in challenging lighting conditions.
According to the leak, the phone will have two periscope cameras. This is a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto with moderate focal lengths and high-quality lossless zoom.
There is also a 50-megapixel ultra-long-range periscope that offers 10x optical zoom. At this level, it would be the only smartphone camera system capable of native 10x optical zoom, targeting close-range and distant subjects without requiring heavy digital cropping.
According to new information, Oppo’s imaging hardware may have been revised significantly, with native focal lengths reaching 230mm and high-quality extensions reaching 460mm. With this approach, wide, mid-telephoto, and extreme zoom ranges would all have consistent image quality.
