Recently, Realme 16 Pro specs and design were revealed online. A tipster has revealed the launch date for the lineup.
As per the leakster, the Realme 16 Pro series will debut in India on January 6. There will be two versions of the 16 Pro: the standard model and the 16 Pro+ model.
Moreover, the tipster suggests that the base model will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Furthermore, the Pro+ variant will include a periscope telephoto lens. Realme 15 Pro, which was unveiled in July, lacked a telephoto camera.
The Realme 16 Pro’s China variant is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a 7,000mAh battery, a 200MP main rear camera, and a 50MP front camera.
According to the source of the leaked image showing the box, the Realme 16 Pro+ will have a periscope telephoto camera on its back. That’s excellent news, of course.
There was no Realme 15 Pro+, so the Realme 14 Pro+ had this feature. Due to its return, the 16 Pro+ is likely to be more expensive than the 15 Pro.
In China, there is speculation that the Realme 15 series’ sales numbers were abysmal, which is why the brand is scrambling to replace them.
