This month, Redmi will unveil its upcoming K90 series in China. The company has moved up the launch window from November to October.
In a Weibo post, Xiaomi President Lu Weibing revealed that the Redmi K90 series will also include a Pro Max variant this year. According to the manufacturer, the model is a ‘true flagship’.
The K90 Pro Max will be priced above CNY 4,000 ($560). With the K90 serving as the base variant and the Pro Max as the top-end variant, it looks like the K90 series will skip the Pro model this time.
Redmi may equip the K90 Pro Max with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and the K90 may be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. It is also rumored that the Redmi K90 series will come with a periscope telephoto lens.
