The Realme GT 8 Pro, which has been leaked extensively recently, is scheduled for release in China this month alongside the GT 8. The international launch, however, might have been rescheduled due to OnePlus.
A recent report claims that Realme intended to host the GT 8 Pro’s worldwide launch event from November 18 to November 20. But according to the latest rumours, the OnePlus 15 might go on sale worldwide on November 13. Therefore, it is now believed that Realme has rescheduled its own debut event for November 11 or later, most likely between November 10 and November 12.
It makes sense that Realme would consider the OnePlus 15 to be the primary rival to the GT 8 Pro, if this is indeed the case. However, it’s still fascinating to see businesses go to such efforts to outdo one another, even if only by a few days.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC will power the Realme GT 8 Pro, and it appears the company is determined to be the first in India to utilise Qualcomm’s newest flagship SoC. According to rumours, the phone will have a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera with a Samsung 1/1.56″ type ISOCELL HP5 sensor, a 50 MP primary camera with Sony’s Lytia LYT-700 1/1.5″ type sensor, up to 16GB of RAM, a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED screen with QHD+ resolution, and an 8,000 mAh battery.
