With the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, the Tecno Spark Slim and Pova Slim, and the iPhone Air, all are set to have some (more) competition soon. Motorola is following the trend of ultra-thin phones this time around.

Moto has begun teasing the Moto X70 Air, and the name is self-explanatory. Here’s an official teaser image if you’re still unsure how this device is meant to be positioned in the market.

There’s no doubt that the shot was intended to emphasise how thin it is. The X70 Air is expected to be officially announced by the end of October, so you won’t have to wait long for all the details. The countdown is on.

As Motorola was named one of Qualcomm’s launch partners, it is speculated that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. We currently know nothing else about the X70 Air, but we would like to point out that the X series is only available in China.

We may receive the same Edge 70 internationally, with or without the on-nose Air branding. A promotional image of the Edge 70, purportedly showing the tagline “incredibly thin and incredibly tough,” was allegedly leaked last week. We’ll keep you updated.
