Nothing announced last week that the Ear (3) would be the name of their next flagship TWS earbuds. The company has abandoned the short-lived experiment of not using any numbers in the name. The Ear (3) was the predecessor to the Nothing Ear, which was the successor to the Nothing Ear (2), which was the successor to the original Nothing Ear (1).
That, if we ignore the fact that the Ear (3) is technically the fourth component in this line, greatly simplifies things for potential customers. Additionally, Nothing has informed us of the Ear (3)’s September 18 debut date as of yet.
That day’s unveiling is scheduled for 13:00 UK time, which is 14:00 Central Europe time, 5 AM Los Angeles time, 8 AM New York time, and 17:30 India time. We will notify you when we learn whether a launch video or some event will be held to commemorate the occasion.
Nothing has released another teaser image, which you can see above, but no specifications for the next Ear (3) have been announced. It appears that Nothing’s recognisable translucent design is still in use, so its admirers will undoubtedly be relieved.
