Realme is set to release a new smartphone with an even larger battery, following the unveiling of a 10,000 mAh prototype in May.
The Chinese manufacturer hinted at a phone with a battery capacity of over 10,000 mAh in a post on X. On August 27, Realme will provide additional information over the phone. It is anticipated to make use of the same silicon-anode battery technology as the 10,000 mAh Realme GT 7 phone.
The company also released a teaser video featuring Realme Vice President Chase Xu discussing redefining boundaries. Nevertheless, no information regarding the upcoming phone is disclosed in the video.
The May concept phone weighed a manageable 215g and was only 8.5mm thick, even though it had a 10,000 mAh battery. Seeing what Realme has in store for us and whether the technology will truly reach international markets will be fascinating. At the forthcoming 828 Fan Festival on August 27, Realme will present the new phone. The company debuted its 320W fast charging technology at the event last year, claiming that it could fully charge a 4,400 mAh battery in less than five minutes.
