Days after the X Fold5 smartphone was unveiled in China, Vivo has begun to tease its arrival in India. This follows the phone company’s hyping of the Vivo X200 FE model’s arrival in India.

The IPX8 and IPX9 water resistance ratings, the IP5X dust resistance ratings, and the -20°C freeze resistance ratings for the phone are all mentioned by the firm. A 6000mAh dual-cell battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless fast charging will be included. According to the business, the Carbon Fibre Support Hinge has undergone 600,000 fold tests.

Vivo highlights a shortcut button that provides rapid access to apps and enables quick function activation. The phone weighs only 217g and is only 9.2 mm thick when folded and 4.3 mm thick when unfurled.

It has a 50MP 1/1.56″ Sony IMX921 sensor with f/1.57 lens, OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle module, and a 50MP 3x telephoto module with a Sony IMX882 sensor. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC powers it. Both the internal and external selfie cameras use a 20MP sensor.

Following the launch, the phone will be offered for sale on Flipkart in addition to the Vivo India web shop. In the next several days, we should be able to determine the phone’s precise launch date.
