One of Vivo’s smallest flagships in recent years, the handset is believed to retain premium features such as full waterproofing, wireless charging, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a petite 6.3-inch display. The Vivo X300 is the likely name for this phone when it launches.

For context, last year’s Vivo X200 debuted in October and featured a 6.67-inch quad-curved screen, 50-megapixel VCS primary camera, and 5800mAh battery with 90W wired charging. With the X300 upgrade on the horizon, the brand may take a giant leap forward in mobile imaging.

According to a different leak from the same source, Vivo is transferring the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor to the primary camera of its forthcoming flagships. This comes after the company used the same sensor in its high-end X100 Ultra and X200 Pro phones.

The HP9 has Tetrapixel technology, which dynamically adjusts pixel size, and supports 8K at 30p and 4K at 120p. As a result of this change, competing brands may include high-resolution sensors in their upcoming flagship models.
