Last October, the Lava Agni 3 was released in India, featuring an Action Button akin to the iPhone and an ambitious secondary display on the back panel. By opting for a more straightforward camera design with the Lava Agni 4, the company may be lowering the bar. It may even evoke the iconic pill-shaped rear camera module of past LG smartphones. The Lava Agni 4 render, shared by tipster Yogesh Brar with 91mobiles, served as the basis for this.
This image displays the Lava Agni 4’s dual-camera configuration on the rear. With two sensors on either side and an LED flash in the centre, it’s a pill-shaped camera module. The camera module appears to be surrounded by a metal frame and to be somewhat thick. The phone’s back panel is white, and the metal frame is part of the same overall colour scheme. In contrast to the curved screen of the Lava Agni 3, the Lava Agni 4 has flat edges, suggesting a flat display.
Specs:
Additionally, the tipster provided us with some specifications of the Lava Agni 4. According to reports, the smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. We don’t yet know about other details, such as peak brightness and HDR support, but if it’s true, it would be identical to the Agni 3. The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, an improvement over the Dimensity 7300X processor found in the Agni 3, is also rumoured to power the Lava Agni 4. With a peak clock speed of 3.35 GHz and a 4 nm architecture, the Dimensity 8350 is expected to deliver flagship-level memory and storage speeds with UFS 4.0.
Next, it is anticipated that the Lava Agni 4 will have 50MP cameras. This might indicate a setup with two 50MP cameras. Given that the Agni 3 has three cameras, it could be a downgrade in terms of camera setup. It features three cameras: an 8MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP primary lens with OIS and EIS. Lava may modify the camera’s hardware and features to maximise its adaptability.
The Lava Agni 4 might cost less than Rs 25,000 in India, given this chipset and the Agni 3’s price.
