Xiaomi is preparing to release its next clamshell-style foldable phone, the Mix Flip 2. The most recent teaser has confirmed the launch date of this flagship-grade flip phone. A new chipset, improvements in camera technology, and much more are anticipated.

In a recent teaser, the Chinese tech giant said, “See You This Month,” confirming the Mix Flip 2’s June 2025 release date. Our earlier report, which was based on leaks from well-known Chinese tipsters, is consistent with this. According to the image poster, Xiaomi’s next-generation flagship flip phone will launch with Leica-branded lenses for its rear camera system.

The Mix Flip 2 most likely comes pre-installed with the HyperOS 2 custom skin based on the Android 15 OS. According to our understanding, the flip phone will have a tall 6.85-inch foldable OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5 K. The Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC is anticipated to be installed under the hood. Its large 5,100mAh battery pack, which supports 50W wireless fast charging and 67W wired fast charging, is confirmed by its 3C certification.

The back may include a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens for photography. Additionally, we can anticipate an IPX8 water resistance rating. The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will probably compete with the South Korean company’s new flagship flip phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, which is scheduled to launch soon.
