With the X Fold 5, a few more gadgets, and a significant launch event in China, Vivo has concluded its event. With four rumored flavors—the X300, X300 Pro Mini, X300 Pro, and X300 Ultra—the X300 series is probably the company’s next big thing.
A recent leak from a well-known source, Digital Chat Station, claims that the X300 Pro would come with a brand-new Sony IMX09A primary camera. It is said that the IMX09A will feature a 50MP sensor with a 1/1.28-inch optical format and a 1.22μm pixel size, representing an “iterative” improvement over the Sony LYT-818 found in the X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini.
According to reports, the sensor’s signal-to-noise performance and light sensitivity are enhanced using a UHCG (Ultra High Conversion Gain) circuit. The addition of an upgraded “DCG+VS” technology, which most likely refers to a hybrid dynamic range processing technique that further enhances contrast and detail preservation in challenging lighting, and support for DCG HDR (dual conversion gain high dynamic range) are reportedly among its other developments.
Furthermore, DCS restates that MediaTek’s forthcoming Dimensity 9500 processor will power the phone. It is anticipated that the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro small will both utilise the same mobile silicon, with the Ultra variant receiving the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
The X300 Pro’s precise debut date and the larger Dimensity 9500 platform it is anticipated to be a part of are still unknown. Nevertheless, rumours indicate that Vivo may introduce the X300 series this October.
