The OnePlus Ace series is only available in China, while several versions have been rebranded for the international market. Several Ace 5 family models have been mentioned in benchmarks, certifications, and speculations. A well-known informant has recently revealed further information on the recent leak of an Ace 5 Ultra model.
Design:
A live image of the two smartphones has surfaced on a Chinese social networking site before the launch. According to the picture, the two phones will have a new camera module design from the December 2024-released Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro.
The current OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro feature a circular camera module. According to the live shot, the next Ace 5 series will have an entirely new camera island.
The device on the left seems to be the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra. It has two cameras arranged vertically and a built-in LED flash. An LED flash is positioned on the right side of the vertical dual-camera configuration of the Racing Edition, which seems to be the one on the right.
According to rumours, the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra could continue to be available only in China. However, the OnePlus Nord 5, which will soon be available worldwide, may be a modified or renamed Ace 5 Racing Edition.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra:
Digital Chat Station provided the most recent information, which they posted on Weibo. A few weeks prior, a retail package photograph verified the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra’s name. According to the most recent specs leak, it is a gaming smartphone. According to DCS, the gadget will include a 144Hz display geared at gaming and esports. This would be the first time a OnePlus handset had a 144Hz refresh rate, even though it has previously produced high 120Hz panels on its flagship phones.
It is anticipated that MediaTek’s newest and best Dimensity 9400+ SoC will be included in the Ace 5 Ultra. The source goes on to say that a gaming core will be included with the gaming flagship to enhance the gaming experience. To put it another way, this may be a piece of hardware or software that improves gaming performance or lowers latency. Sadly, this is the only information disclosed in this leak; stay tuned for more.
