As per tipster Digital Chat Station, Realme appears to be repositioning its GT 8 Pro as a premium smartphone. Due to upgraded specs and positioning, the GT 8 Pro may also carry a considerable price increase over last year’s Realme GT 7 Pro.

According to DCS, the Realme GT 8 Pro will be Realme’s most premium offering yet, improving screen quality, processing power, and camera capabilities. These enhancements are expected to set it apart from the current GT 7 Pro.

According to reports, the GT 8 Pro might be launched at 3,999 Yuan (Rs.46,500/-) for the base variant. With this potential shift, Realme could compete more aggressively with top-tier rivals in the flagship arena.

According to recent reports, Realme GT 8 Pro may feature a flat OLED display with 2K resolution and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded beneath the display. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor will power it under the hood.

There is a possibility that the battery capacity will reach 7,000mAh, powered by 100W fast charging. The setup will likely feature a 200-megapixel periscope lens, one of the most significant improvements. Moreover, the device may feature a metal middle frame for improved durability and a more refined feel. The device is expected to launch in the last quarter of 2025 with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.
