Acer announced a slew of new Aspire AI, Swift Edge, and Swift X Duo series laptops at Computex. Different types of systems cater to various customers and use cases. Still, they all come with the latest hardware platforms, including AI-infused Copilot+ features and increased performance for multiple workloads, including gaming, thanks to the RTX 50 series GPUs.
Acer Aspire AI Series:
With the Aspire AI series, you can choose between 14-inch and 16-inch laptops that feature next-generation processors, such as Intel’s Core Ultra, AMD’s Ryzen AI 7, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X. New Aspire AI laptops offer AI experiences like Recall (preview) and improved Windows Search to streamline workflows for students, professionals, and families. Acer’s AI applications are AcerSense, Acer LiveArt 2.0, Acer PurifiedView 2.0, and Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0.
They feature thin-and-light aluminium chassis and a 180-degree hinge. In addition to their long battery life, the devices feature vibrant displays up to 120Hz and slim bezels (touchscreen options are also available). The Aspire AI series offers plenty of connectivity and performance with up to 32 GB DDR5X RAM, 1 TB PCIe Gen4 storage, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a range of ports.
Acer Swift Edge 14 AI and Go AI:
Two laptops in the Swift series are the Edge 14 AI and the Go AI. Intel Core Ultra 200V Series processors power these new Copilot+ PCs, which feature integrated NPUs (capable of 40 TOPS) for enhanced AI capabilities.
With its sub-1 kilogram magnesium-aluminium chassis, the Acer Swift Edge 14 AI stands out. Its 14-inch 3K OLED edge-to-edge glass display also stands out. It is also the first laptop in the world to feature Corning Gorilla Glass Matte Pro, which significantly reduces screen reflections. The machine provides up to 32GB DDR5X RAM and 1TB storage, with an Ultra 288V processor and Arc GPU power. The system’s battery life is also claimed to be up to 21 hours.
With the Swift Go 16 AI and Swift Go 14 AI series, you get Intel Core Ultra 7 processors with Intel Arc graphics. Further, it has 32 GB of DDR5X memory and 2 TB of NVMe SSD storage. Acer Multi-Control Touchpads are also included for intuitive media control.
Acer Swift X Series:
Swift X 14 AI and Swift X 14 are the latest models in Acer’s Swift X series. Swift X 14 AI is powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors with Copilot+ support. The laptop comes with Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2). They feature GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPUs and advanced thermal solutions for optimal performance. This enables accelerated AI workflows and high-performance graphics and gaming. Pre-calibrated displays for accurate color reproduction are included with these 14.5-inch 3.5K OLED touchscreens. User-friendly features on the laptops include large haptic touchpads and stylus support.
