Xiaomi CEOs, including founder Lei Jun and co-founder Lin Bin, celebrated the company’s 15th anniversary on April 6. After interacting with fans, Lin Bin casually revealed that Xiaomi will be launching the Xiaomi 15S Pro in the near future. Despite no promotional materials being shared, this is the first time the model has been officially acknowledged. Tipster @DigitalChatStation highlighted Lin Bin’s response.

Almost three years after the Xiaomi 12S launched, the Xiaomi 15S Pro will be the brand’s first S-series flagship. The Xiaomi 15S Pro retains the core design elements of the Xiaomi 15 Pro, including a 2K quad-curved display and triple Leica cameras.

In addition, the battery is expected to exceed 6,000mAh in capacity. According to prior 3C certification listings, the phone will also support fast charging up to 90W.

This device may also debut Xiaomi’s chipset. It uses TSMC’s N4P process and a tri-cluster eight-core layout. If optimised properly, it could rival the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in performance.

The Xiaomi 15S Pro could also bring back UWB connectivity, last seen on the Xiaomi MIX 4. This technology makes tasks like unlocking the Xiaomi SU7 EV easier. Xiaomi’s automotive ambitions make the reintroduction of UWB strategic. The official confirmation alone signals the imminent arrival of this high-end device later this month, even if the full specifications remain unknown.
