There has been a Geekbench listing for the Samsung Galaxy M56 5G. SM-M566B is the model number of the device that has been benchmarked. A support page was launched last week on Samsung India’s website. According to these developments, the phone may launch in India this month.
The Galaxy M56 will arrive in 2025 as the successor to the Galaxy M55, which debuted in March 2024. To date, there have been no concrete leaks regarding the M56’s specifications. However, Geekbench provides the first details about the device.
The Galaxy M56 is equipped with the Exynos 1480 chipset, rather than the more powerful Exynos 1580. Although the chipset’s name is not explicitly mentioned in the motherboard field, the “s5e8845” identifier is. The Xclipse 530 GPU (mentioned in the source code) and four 2.75GHz performance cores confirm the device has an Exynos 1480 processor.
According to the listing, the Galaxy M56 has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 15, likely with Samsung’s One UI 7. Like the recently launched Galaxy A56 and A36, Samsung will likely offer up to six years of Android OS upgrades and security updates.
Geekbench 6 gave the M56 a single-core score of 1,153 points and a multi-core score of 3,456. No information is available about the phone’s other specifications.
