Recently, Motorola announced its new Edge 60 Fusion smartphone. The device is now available in a few regions around the world. Apart from the Edge 60 Fusion, Motorola is also gearing up to reveal the Edge 60 Fusion’s elder sibling.
Motorola Edge 60 has a 3D silicone vegan leather layer on the rear. It offers a premium feel in the hand and is more scratch-resistant than glass. Three cameras and an LED flash are in a square module. The handset will be rated IP68/69 for excellent durability against accidents.
This more expensive model also features a quad-curved display. It will help thin out the bezels around the screen. According to the leaked renders, the side curves stand out more than the other two. AquaTouch technology may be supported so that wet hands can use the display more easily. Additionally, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i could provide protection.
Motorola has placed the power and volume up/down buttons on the right side of the phone. On the bottom frame, there is a SIM slot, a microphone, a speaker grille, and a USB-C port. It also has a microphone and the engraving “Dolby Atmos.”
Specs:
According to the specs, the device could be powered by a Dimensity 7400 chip, which powers the Edge 60 Fusion. Motorola will offer variants with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The 5,500mAh battery supports 65W TurboPower charging.
The rear camera system will include a 50MP Sony LYTA 700C main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. Last but not least, the Motorola Edge 60 will come with Android 15 out of the box. The brand will provide up to three years of major OS updates and four years of monthly security updates.
