Now, fresh reports from South Korea suggest that Samsung is gearing up to debut its tri-fold smartphone in the latter half of 2025. However, the release will be highly exclusive, with fewer than 300,000 units planned for production. This limited availability stems from the extreme technical challenges involved in crafting such a complex device.
Samsung’s venture into tri-fold smartphones isn’t just about innovation; it’s also a test of manufacturing prowess. When unfolded on the left, the display will measure approximately 10.5 inches, while unfolding to the right extends it to a generous 12.4 inches. However, it appears that an under-display camera will not be included in this iteration.
