Samsung is planning to leave the 8GB + 128GB storage configuration as is. This was a starting option on the Galaxy S24. The upcoming Galaxy S25, however, will receive a memory upgrade. New rumours claim that the global base variant of the Galaxy S25 series could have 12GB of RAM.
According to known tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will have 12GB of RAM for the base model. With no 8GB option, Samsung’s new premium devices will be comparable to the top-end Ultra model. No official word has been released regarding these devices, but all three models might gain more storage. The Galaxy S25 would have double the starting storage as the Galaxy S24, which came with just 128GB.
The source also revealed the RAM and storage variants of the new Galaxy S25 Series. According to the source, the Galaxy S25 will now arrive with 12GB/128GB, whereas the Galaxy S25+ comes with a base variant of 12GB/512GB. Further, the Galaxy S25 Ultra ships with 12GB/1TB.
