Chinese smartphone maker Realme has officially announced its Neo7’s debut date. This device is expected to launch around mid-December 2024 in the brand’s home market.
A few days ago, Realme teased the Neo7, and today it announced the phone would be unveiled on December 11 at 4 PM local time in China.
A Weibo post from Realme says the Neo7 “will deliver flagship-level durable performance, incredible durability, and full-level durability, sweeping the mid-range!” It’s all machine-translated from Chinese, but it gives us a pretty good idea of what Realme wants to do with it.
Last week, the brand began teasing its next smartphone series, suggesting that more than one model might be released, but the latest teaser poster only reveals the Neo7 launch date. Also revealed at the time was that the upcoming Neo7 model would offer leapfrog performance, a leading gaming experience, and technological trends.
The Neo7’s specs have not been disclosed by Realme. It was previously confirmed by the brand that the smartphone would cost less than CNY2,499 (INR29,120) in China. It should be that price for the base model.
Realme Neo7’s battery capacity is expected to be over 6,500 mAh and its IP rating is expected to be above IP68, according to the brand.
