The Xiaomi 15 series has been the subject of a lot of talk lately. The launch date of this smartphone series was not known, but it was expected in October. Finally, Xiaomi has revealed the launch date for this highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 series.
In China, the Xiaomi 15 series will debut on 23rd October. According to reports, this series will ship with HyperOS 2.0. It was previously revealed that HyperOS 2.0 would be Xiaomi’s first AI OS. Also revealed in the above launch announcement is that the series will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
This upcoming series will arrive with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. I’m confused about the processor name, obviously. As it turns out, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has been renamed Snapdragon 8 Elite. Qualcomm is repeating history by renaming its upcoming processor.
The Xiaomi 15 series will be the first smartphone series equipped with this new platform. It was recently revealed that the Xiaomi 15 will support 90W fast charging on the 3C certification website.
