We currently expect the Find X8 pair to be released in China sometime in October. The vanilla Find X8 has been spotted in the wild already so we know what to expect. Unfortunately, new real-world photos of the Oppo Find X8 have emerged encased in a thick case.
Nevertheless, we can confirm previous design leaks, such as the extra-large camera island on the rear. The case also appears to have extensive cutouts for all of the microphones and sensors on top. Since the alleged Capture button is supposed to sit low on the right-hand side of the phone, this makes it unlikely that the manufacturer just forgot to include a cutout for it. As for the button, it’s also allegedly capacitive and not a real button, so you can’t press it through the thick case. Maybe the Oppo Find X8 does not have an extra button after all?
According to recent rumours, the Find X8 will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, just like its Pro counterpart. It has a 6.7-inch “1.5K” 120 Hz flat screen display. According to reports, the handset will have a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 3x periscope zoom camera. The device will be powered by a 5,600mAh battery with wired charging support of 100W.
