Nothing has officially confirmed that it will launch the CMF Phone 1 soon as the first smartphone under the CMF sub-brand. There is a hint of leather finish in the teaser and a dial that looks like the one on the CMF Neckband Pro.

Carl Pei, the CEO of the company, confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3) will only launch in 2025. According to the company, the phone will showcase Nothing’s innovative design and meticulous attention to detail, and will serve as an entry point to its entire product ecosystem.

We are giving this category our full attention while others overlook it,” the company said.

The new CMF Phone (1) will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the front. The CMF Phone (1) is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

The new CMF Phone (1) will feature a 50MP Samsung GN9 (f/1.8) main sensor along with a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor with LED flash. There is a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.

The CMF Phone (1) will run on Android 14 OS with Nothing OS 2.5 on top. Sadly, no charger is included in the retail package. The device also gets IP54 certified making it splashproof. The brand is also promising 3 years of major Android OS updates with 4 years of Security patches.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, and Wifi 6. Further A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

CMF Phone (1) will arrive in Black, Orange, Green, and Blue colors. The CMF Phone (1) with 6GB+128GB costs $249 (Rs.20,000/-) whereas the 6GB+256GB at $279 (Rs.22,000/-). In India, the phone will start at Rs.15,000/- including all offers.
