Despite being one of the original Android smartphone makers, HTC is still around – if barely. A successor to the U23 Pro launched last May, which is likely to be called U24 Pro.

A listing of the HTC U24 Pro in the Google Play Console usually indicates an official launch is coming soon. Geekbench spotted it a few days ago, and Bluetooth SIG certified it already.

HTC will offer the U24 Pro with 12GB of RAM in one variant (more RAM may be offered). It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. With 480ppi pixel density, the screen has a resolution of 1080×2436. As a matter of course, it will be running Android 14 from the start.

The Play Console listing shows only one image of the phone and this shows a curved screen with a centered selfie camera punch-hole. On the right side, there are buttons for power and volume. Bluetooth certification revealed that it supports version 5.3.

If it launches in May like its predecessor, we can expect more leaks and rumors to follow, so stay tuned.
