OPPO has confirmed the launch of its Reno12 series smartphones in China. Both a standard and a pro variant will be available. They will succeed last year’s Reno11 and Reno11 Pro. OPPO has announced the design and colour variants of its upcoming Weibo offerings ahead of the launch next week.

On May 23, Oppo will host a launch event for its Reno12 series smartphones. Reno12 and Reno12 Pro are expected to be the first devices in the series. There is a hint in the official teaser video that the Reno12 series could debut in silver.

OPPO Reno12 will be available in Silver and Reno12 Pro in Violet color options. On the other hand, the latter seems to have a lighter shade at the bottom. There is a wave-like pattern on both phones. In the top left corner, there is a rectangular camera island with rounded corners. The camera is equipped with three cameras and an LED flash.

The OPPO Reno12 series has a volume rocker and power button on the right side. Similarly, the latter protrudes, suggesting that both devices may feature in-screen fingerprint scanners. OPPO Reno12 details remain under wraps for now. In the weeks leading up to next week’s launch, we can expect the brand to reveal more details.
