It looks like Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand will bring out a slightly modified version of the entry-level A3 this month, called the Redmi A3x. An Indian market model number was found in a database along with a global model number – so we know as well where it will be available.

As “G” and “I” are the suffixes used by Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices in those markets, the Redmi A3x will have the model number 24048RN6CG globally, and 24048RN6CI in India.

The “2404” at the beginning of the model number indicates that the smartphone will be released in April 2024. The Redmi A3x has yet to be officially announced, but given its name, we expect it to be a slightly modified version of the A3.
