Over the past few days, Redmi has teased the arrival of a new smartphone in China. When the phone is released, it will be known as the Redmi Note 13 Turbo. As a surprise, the company today revealed that the said device will be part of a new series called Turbo.

According to the poster above, Redmi’s upcoming smartphone will be called “Redmi Turbo 3.” Among its features will be a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is a “Lite” version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Are there any phones that will be included in the Turbo series? This new-generation performance flagship is designed to reinvent the mid-range performance market.

As part of the Note series, last year’s Turbo-branded phone was the Redmi Note Turbo 12. Starting this year, Tubo branded phones will have a separate lineup. To popularize flagship features among a wider audience, the Note series will focus on mid-range phones.

In the K-lineup, which will be positioned above the Turbo lineup, there will be high-end phones with flagship features and performance. In addition, there will be entry-level phones in the numbered series below the Note series.

The Redmi Turbo 3 is expected to debut in China this month. In the global market, the device will be rebranded as the Poco F6. The F6 and F6 Pro, which are said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, are likely to debut in May in the global market.
