Several exciting mid-range smartphones are launching this month. With the Motorola Edge 50 Pro on the way, we’re also looking forward to the Redmi Turbo 3, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, and the Oppo A3 Pro, all releasing later this week in China.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo smartphone will also be available soon in the market from iQOO. The iQOO Z-series product manager Xeng Ching recently stated on Weibo that “This month is going to be lively.” It is noteworthy that she made this statement while holding the iQOO Z9 Turbo, confirming its moniker for the first time. We can expect the iQOO Z9 Pro smartphone to debut in April based on this teaser.

No official confirmation has been given, but the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor is believed to power the iQOO Z9 Turbo. Redmi Turbo 3 is also confirmed to launch with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, making it a direct competitor of iQOO Z9 Turbo.

Specs:

DCS reports that the iQOO Z9 Turbo will feature a flat 6.78-inch OLED display. The screen supports 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming in addition to 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. There is in-display fingerprint scanner support.

It is expected that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered device will feature 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM. There is a good chance that both variants will come with 512 GB of internal storage. This smartphone will likely debut as the world’s first smartphone to feature a 6,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging.

With a 16-megapixel front camera, the Z9 Turbo may be able to take great selfies. On the back, there may be a 50MP primary camera with an 8MP lens, perhaps for ultra-wide shots.

According to previous reports, the Z9 Turbo will run Android 14 and OriginOS 4. A dedicated graphics chip may be included, as well as a plastic frame.
