According to reports, Oppo is working on its next-generation Reno series smartphones. Several rumors and reports recently mentioned these devices. The launch timeline for the Reno 12 series has been revealed in a new leak.

According to reports, Huawei is planning to release the Reno12 series in May 2024. A known tipster from Weibo has revealed the latest leak. According to Smart Pikachu, the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro will be available next month. A second tipster confirmed that the smartphones had been benchmarked against Honor smartphones. There may be similarities in pricing and specs between the Reno12 models and Honor 200 series. Honor 200 series is expected to launch in May.

Reno12 Pro:

Reno12 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch display and the same 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate as its Reno 11 counterpart, as well as the same curved glass design. The device will also feature the Diemnsity 9200 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that can handle 80W charging. As with the Reno12 Pro, it’s expected to offer 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

The leak mentions a 50MP l front-facing camera and a triple-camera system at the back. This camera will feature a 50MP primary sensor accompanied by a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom.

Despite the leak’s close alignment with previous information, there are some slight differences, especially in the charging specifications. Reno12 Pro leaks previously suggested 67W charging, but this one suggests 80W. These are early details about the device, so it’s best to take them with a grain of salt.
