The Vivo X Fold3 series of foldable phones and the Vivo Pad 3 series of tablets are expected to be announced in China by the end of March, according to recent reports. X Fold3 series renders based on a leaked schematic were shared on Weibo before the expected launch. Almost all of the specifications of the X Fold3 Pro have also been leaked by DCS.

Design:

Vivo X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro will likely have nearly identical designs but with different internal components. On the back panel, a circular camera module is placed in the top half, as opposed to the top-right corner on the Vivo X Fold2. There are three cameras, two LED flash units, and a ZEISS logo on the module.

Specs:

The new Vivo X Fold3 Pro will sport a massive 8.03-inch internal QHD+ (2,160 x 1,916p) LTPO 3.0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There are secondary 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED (2,520 x 1,080 pixels) displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint support on both the inner as well as outer display.

 

The new Vivo X Fold3 Pro is now powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage space. The device features triple-rear cameras with  Zeiss branding and T* coating. It comes with a 50MP main Omnivision OV50H sensor, OIS coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. There is a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 60x zoom & OIS support. Both the internal as well as external display features a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.

 

Vivo’s self-developed V3 image chip powers the camera system, providing improved HDR and noise reduction. With Zeiss Cinematic mode, the X Fold3 can record up to 8K video at 30 frames per second.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It also features an IR blaster, dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, a glass back, and a water-resistant chassis.

The Vivo X Fold3 will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast wired & 50W wireless charging support. It runs on Android 14 OS with Origin Ocean OS 4.0 on top.
