According to recent reports, Oppo may soon announce the Oppo K12 in China as its first K-series phone. Tipster Digital Chat Station confirmed the key specifications of the device on Weibo recently. According to a newer post on Weibo, the leaker has revealed the design of the Oppo K12.

Design:

Oppo K12 schematics show punch-hole OLED panels on the front that appear to be integrated with fingerprint scanners. There are two cameras on the back of the phone, as well as an LED flash placed on an elevated module at the top-left corner of the device.

There is also an alert slider on the left side of the K12. There is a power key and a volume rocker on the right edge of the phone. In addition to the bottom edge speaker, the top bezel speaker is expected to have a dual speaker system as well.

Specs:

The Oppo K12 will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, according to DCS. In addition to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the device will have 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

It is unclear what size battery or charging capabilities the K12 has. Besides a 16-megapixel selfie camera, the device’s back side features a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro/depth sensor with LED flash. As of now, it is unclear whether the Oppo K12 will inherit the Oppo K11’s display, camera, and battery specs.

In the global market last year, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 was a tweaked version of the Oppo K11. In light of this, the Nord CE 4 or 5 on the global market this year will likely be based on the K12.
