It is widely expected that the London-based company will announce it at the upcoming Mobile World Congress later this month. There have been numerous leaks and rumors about the brand’s next smartphone. A leaked press render of the Phone (2a) has been released by reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer. Based on pre-production units, the images of the device were incorrect or unreliable.

Design:

As you can see from the leaked renders, the Phone (2a) will have two vertically stacked cameras on the top left side. As with Nothing’s other two smartphones, the placement is the same.

Additionally, the Nothing Phone (2a) has a large circular element besides the camera sensors, which is a major difference from the latest render. On the Phone (2), the wireless charging hardware is surrounded by large circular lines, the report claims. It also lacks the unique Glyph interface. Since the device is expected to be mid-range, this makes sense.

Like the more premium phones, the Nothing Phone (2a) will also feature a transparent back panel. With a Glyph-less interface and a somewhat different design, the company may be attempting to differentiate its flagship phone series from its affordable phones.
