Today, Realme announced that the Realme 12+ 5G smartphone will launch in India on March 6. It was teased last week, and the smartphone will launch in the world’s second-largest smartphone market on March 6.

The Realme 12+ 5G will also have the Sony LYT600 camera with OIS and two times in-sensor zoom. Realme claims its Snap Portrait System is the “first custom dynamic portrait capture system introduced in a smartphone.” It optimizes the capture speed, allowing continuous shooting of high speed up to 208 shots per minute.

Moreover, Realme 12+ 5G will feature an IP54 rating and Rainwater Smart Touch technology, making it easier to operate with wet hands.

Realme 12+ 5G will arrive with a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400×1080p)AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Sadly, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The new Realme 112+5G is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space.

The device will feature tripe-rear cameras with a 50MP LYT-600 main sensor, OIS coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide & 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charge support.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res support, FM Radio and Bluetooth 5.1.

It runs on Android 14 OS with Realme 5.0 on top. The device measures 7.9mm thick and weighs 190g. The Realme 12+ comes in two colors with Vegan Leather back in Beige & Green colors.
