Redmi is set to unveil a new smartphone in the A series soon in India. A new announcement has confirmed the launch date for the Redmi A3. Redmi A3 launches on Valentine’s Day in India with a teaser that confirms some key features.
On 14th February 2024, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi will unveil its Redmi A3. On the brand’s official Indian website, a dedicated microsite reveals certain specifications. The upcoming device will have a display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a big 5,000mAh battery. A premium Halo design was also teased for the Redmi A3.
On the rear, the image sensors and LED flash module are housed in a circular camera island. There is a hint of a green color option in the teaser. On the website, this was all the information shared.

The new Redmi A3 will sport a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & 90Hz refresh rate support. Redmi A3 is powered by an unknown MediaTek G36 SoC coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It also gets a microSD card slot.
It features a 13MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 13 Go Edition without any custom skin on top. The device measures 9.09 mm thick and weighs 192g.
