According to a recent Weibo post by DCS, the Reno12 series will feature some key features. According to the tipster, the Reno 12 series will feature a Snapdragon 8 series sub-flagship platform. In Qualcomm’s camp, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is the flagship chip. As a result, the Reno12 series will likely debut with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
It is also suggested that the Reno12 series will have an improved periscope camera. It is noteworthy that this development comes after previous Reno models like the Reno10 Pro+ and Reno11 Pro featured impressive telephoto sensors. Although these devices only offer 3x and 2x optical zoom, the upcoming Reno12 series may offer greater optical zoom capabilities.
