New products have been announced by Oppo in Malaysia today. Among them are the Reno 11 5G, the Reno 11 Pro 5G, the Enco Air 3s, the Enco Buds 2 Pro, and the Oppo Pad Neo. The Pad Neo is the focus of this post because Malaysia is the first market to receive it. The Pad Neo specifications, features, and price are listed below.

Specs:

It has an 11.35-inch IPS LCD with a 2.4K resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. In addition to being TUV Rheinland certified for low blue light, the display also supports DC dimming.

There is also a Bedtime Mode, which reduces the amount of brain-stimulating light emitted by the device before bedtime, to help you sleep better. OPPO claims the Pad Go’s 7:5 aspect ratio screen provides more space for books, games, and web pages. In addition, the screen-to-body ratio is 86.4% thanks to 7.5mm bezels all around the display.

The OPPO Pad Neo comes with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The tab features an 8MP selfie & 8MP single rear camera. Video can be recorded at 1080p/30fps with both cameras, but the rear camera also has electronic image stabilization.

The OPPO Pad Neo supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB-C. The device has 4G network connectivity but does not support styluses. It packs an 8000mAh battery with 33W fast charge support. The OPPO Pad Neo runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.2 on top.

In summary, it is just a rebranded OnePlus Pad Go tablet announced last year for certain markets like India.

Pricing:

Oppo Pad Neo is available in both Wi-Fi and LTE versions in Malaysia, and only in Space Grey. There are two versions of the Pad Neo available in Malaysia, with the 6GB+128GB (Wi-Fi) version priced at RM 1,199 (Rs.21,500/-) and the 8GB+128GB (LTE) version priced at RM 1,399 (Rs.25,000/-). Customers who purchase the tablet will also receive a complimentary Pad Neo Smart Case.
