The rumor of a new smartphone has been circulating for some time now. According to recent reports, the device is the Phone 2a. The launch date for the Nothing Phone 3 and the next-generation flagship device has now been tipped, according to a new report.

According to tipster @saaaanjjjuuu, the news was shared on X (formerly Twitter). The tweet revealed that the Phone 2a would be launching in the first quarter of this year. An announcement will likely be made between January and March 2024. According to the tipster, Nothing Phone 3 will be released in July 2024.

The company is also working on a hearable product. The brand is also developing wireless earbuds called the CMF Nothing Buds 2 Pro, according to him. Although the official name of these earbuds is still unknown, the TWS could be the direct successor to CMF’s Buds Pro. As a result, it could be part of the CMF By Nothing branding.

The Nothing Phone (2a) will have a 6.7-inch, 120Hz OLED display, the aforementioned Dimensity 7200 chipset, and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (other memory variants may also be available). As with the Nothing Phone 2, there are two 50MP rear cameras, but a 16MP selfie camera. Furthermore, Nothing OS 2.5 and Android 14 appear to come pre-installed on the phone. Take some of these details with a grain of salt, though, since the phone’s About screen also lists 1,000 mAh worth of battery capacity.
