According to multiple online reports, Realme 12+ 5G is in the works. Probably right below the Realme 12 Pro series, the handset could fall into the mid-tier category. Meanwhile, the Realme 12+ has been certified by China’s MIIT with the model number RMX3866. The global version has the model number RMX3867. As a result of MIIT certification, we can see the design of the phone.

Realme 12+:

According to MIIT certification, the phone will have a similar design to the Realme 12 Pro. On the back, there are four camera sensors and an LED flash housed in a circular module.

In the middle of the back panel is a large vertical metallic strip. For a premium feel, the back panel could be finished in leather. On the rear-bottom side, we can also see Realme branding.

On the right edge are the volume rocker and power button. The display edges of the Realme 12+ look flat and the chassis appears boxy. On the MIIT certification, the Blue color is shown, but at launch, there may be other options.

With the same model number RMX3867, the Realme 12+ recently obtained TDRA, NBTC, and FCC certifications. It shows the phone would come pre-installed with Android 14 OS, NFC, and 5G network support. It could have a 5,000mAh battery and 67W fast charging capability.

According to the Camera FV 5 certification, the handset might feature a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.0 aperture. For selfies and video calls, there could be a 16MP camera on the front.
